RikPVR 2.2 includes a new scanning module which significantly improves the compatability and speed of RikPVR scanning.
Scanning affects both the initial channel scanning as well as scanning for the TV guide from the broadcast.
Version 2.1
Recording Bars
RikPVR now shows you exactly when it will be recording with red recording bars on the guide. Plus these bars can be used
to adjust your recording. Just hover over their ends, click and hold, then drag to move your recording.
Recording Conflict Resolution
You've only got one card, but there's shows on two channels straight after each other! Now RikPVR will offer to adjust
your buffers automatically to fit both recordings in.
Version 2.0
Multi-channelling
RikPVR version 2 includes a completely rewritten recording module. The new module allows you to record
multiple channels on a single tuner (as long as those channels are on the same frequency). RikPVR handles
all of the details of multi-channelling for you, you just ask it to record a show and it will let you
know if you don't have a free tuner for that recording.
Broadcast TV Guide
RikPVR 2.0 now allows you to read your TV guide straight from the TV broadcasts. Just choose the "Broadcast TV Guide"
option during the setup wizard.
