Australian EPG data to be broadcast

It looks like Australian's are finally set to receive EPG data for free. This media release announces that EPG will now be broadcast by the commercial channels, joining SBS and ABC. The rollout is:

ABC, SBS, WIN - Already broadcasting
Nine, TEN, Prime, NBN - November 19, 2007
Southern Cross - November 26, 2007
Seven - January 1, 2008

Of course, support for this data will be fast tracked in RikPVR. Initial development has already begun!

I downloaded your software to try on my new AverTV DVB-S Hybrid +FM pci card, which also has analogue and DVB-T HD on the card as well. The DVB-T doesn't come up in the software that came with the card, so I thought I'd try yours.

The installer says, WinXP Sp2 or better/higher. I have WinXP sp3 installed and the installer will not install the software. Is there a way around this?

Looking forward to your reply.

cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I'll have to look into the installer. Obviously the version check isn't taking into account WinXP SP3. I'll post here again once it's fixed.
